Campanula leaves darkening at edges?

I'm new here. We live in the Bay Area south of San Francisco, so we've had some recent cold weather but no frost this month. What could be turning the edges of the leaves on my campanula plants a dark purple-brown color? We just relandscaped our yard, and I've never grown campanulas before...not even sure what variety this is. Thanks for any suggestions!
