Is it true, dusting is more effective then spray??.we sprayed last spring with littel results.the brown spots were not as bad almost gone, but the appel magets were there in full force .we have 2 trees,at least 35yrs old. when is the best time to start treating for the maggets?

  • Dust or spray?

It depends on what you are trying to control and when you spray or dust. To control apple pests requires an integrated pest management approach of traps as well as well timed applications of a dust or spray appropriate for the pest. Check NGA's main page for a good article on growing apples.
