houseplants in "glass houses"
my friend was given a small doll-size "glass house" it resembles a miniature
conservatory-does anyone have one? If so, how do your plants fare in that container? thanks...spike

Hi Spike_lea: I have two of these actually. ONe has a fern inside and another has a couple of small jewel orchids, a fern and a peperomia......I like these better than a terrarium, as I just place the pots inside,(rather than filling the base with soil and planting) and the watering needs can be met individually, rather than all together. My plants are all doing quite well within....just monitor the watering (don't allow them to get too dry, nor too moist)and don't leave water on the leaves, as they tend to rot.
