Garden Fence

I'd like to build a garden fence that keeps animals out. I've been looking at using a 6' tall privacy fence with lattice on the top. I'm wondering if this will allow enough sun light into the garden? The garden is approximately 20' x 28'.

    With a garden that small, I think it will block too much sun. How about lattice all of the way?
