New Lawn/Prairie Grass

Hi All

I have recently built a new home on 2 acres in Southern Alberta. I need to seed the disturbed area and am looking for recommendations. I also would like to turn the front 1/2 acre to a lawn from the natural prairie grass/weeds that it currently is. I do not wish to disturb the soil too much. Does anyone know the best pesticide/fertizers that may work.
