What to do with Hyacinths

I planted Hyacinth bulbs, this past October. Within a month, they had grown approximately four inch, above ground. Since then we have had ice and snow. Do I just leave the poor things alone? When Spring comes, is there something that I can do , or do I have to take them out and start all over?
