black garden leaves

Hi,
I went out to my garden this evening and everything looks like it was hit
by a heavy frost.My Pumpkin leaves,tomatos,greenbean,watermelons,squash,cucumbers,ect.. everything but my
carrots all have discolering or curling black leaves.It has not been so low as to frost,I only water in the evening.
Any Idea what happened?
