I need something better than gloves!

Hey all,
I was wondering if anybody knew of any products that I can put on my skin to protect it while I'm gardening? I hate wearing gloves but apparently my skin is too sensitive to allergens in the soil to go it without anything on. Any ideas? Happy gardening!

    Nothing protects like gloves. Some of the newer gloves are made of light weight material that is durable, forms nicely to the hand and has vented backs. I think they are great but somewhat expensive.
