Tomatoes, Manure & Sunspots

It's a good time to warn new gardeners About manure spread on veggies.. most of the recalls have shown veggies getting run off from pastures. Know your manure. Also, last year very poor crop of tomatoes & roses due to lack of UV rays from "missing" sunspots. The sun is at a strangely quiet minimum w/many days of NO sunspots. Plants reach for missing light. Also, shortage of bees for pollination. Should be interesting year to watch.
