That depends on what your average air temperatures are now, what your soil is like now, and whether you are planning on planting seeds for frost hardy plants or frost tender plants. Average air temperatures need to be consistently in the 50's with no chance of frost and the soil needs to be not too wet or too dry. Contact your local office of the Cornell USDA Cooperative Extension Service to find out the suggested times for planting what you want to grow.
