Brugmansia help

I have a brug that is in a pot. I would like to put it in the ground. Where should I plant it, in the sun or shade?
Our sun in the summer is really hot.
Thank you,

You should plant it in full sun on the South Side of your house. Feed it Osmocote 4 times a year and give it plenty of room to grow...and lots of water to drink. I started with 1 and now it is 15'high and 12' wide.
