Companion flowers

The Pansies would blossom at a time other than the roses and marigolds would. They are cooler season flowers, but the marigolds are suggested as good companion plants for roses. Sometimes, but not always, you can look at a nursery catalog for plants to grow together, but if this catalog shows Tulips and Daffodils in flower with roses and other high summer bloomers that is one not to use.
