Hummingbird Vine

I consider myself a beginner gardener and have made many mistakes but I am learning from them. I have a question I planted hummingbird vine in one of my beds and it is taking over the bed. How can I get rid of it. It is even traveling to other beds and into my lawn. Boy do I regret planting it. Help
