Could someone please let me know if it's OK to use the same soil , plus potting soil to replace loss, when refilling your window boxes? I would like to replace my straggly petunias with my mums.

    I have found that if there are a lot of roots in the old soil it's best to replace it. If not I'd say your ready to go.
    Enjoy your mums, they are especially nice in the fall.
