I just got a great lemon tree that I am keeping on my patio. The lemons are sweeter than regular lemons. They are perfect for lemonade! This is a neat tree. I got it from southerncitrustree.com

    Yes, The 'improved Meyer' is a nice compact tree of sweet lemons suitable for a patio container I would think. You could not keep a 'Bearass' in a container. I have both types. You might also try the 'Quats' in containers. Kumquats are of two strains, but there are hybreds with lime and other citrus. Nothing like kumquat marmalade on biscuits in the morning.
