Tomato Pests

Just as I had green tomatoes turning red, some small animal ate them!!! I think it might be a mouse or a chipmunk! What can I do???!!! Help!

Try garlic juice. your garden supply should have it.

Cayenne Pepper

Make a mixture with ground dried cayenne pepper and water and spray this onto your fruit. Wear gloves, goggles and a mask (please, cuz this stuff if potent). Re-apply after rain. Wash your fruit carefully before eating because cayenne is strong stuff. I would use about a tsp to per quart of water should do it.

Then stand back and watch the little buggers NOT eat your 'maters!

This also works on cats and the neighborhood dog that runs loose.
