Can I cover kidney shape sod area, approx 40 sq ft with plastic, and create a rock garden without stripping to sod and it's root. Will the sod rot or creat fungus. Will spreading of pesticides, insect killers help in dong this process. I wanted to elevate the area not sink it if I will rip the sod and root. Pls. reply.
