Bowles Mauve Wallflower

Bowles Mauve Wallflower
Posted by Angela H from NC Zone 7 on 2008-06-18 12:18:00

I have a Bowles Mauve Wallflower that is at least 2 years old. It even bloomed sporadically throughout our mild winter. This spring, it grew tremendously and bloomed gloriously. Now, however, it has developed spots underneath that have turned almost bone white and are very dry. There are still blooms at the tips, but the stalks are also bone white and spindly. I have watered it as usual. Does anyone have any guess what is happening?
