Sorry your helper overwatered. worst mistake for most plants! Have any survivied? What do they look like? Howlong has it been since you believe them dead? Any leaves look green? Can you save any leaves to start new ones?

Poor man! All is not lost. The might recover. Don't water or feed them for a few of weeks. Pick off any withered leaves
If the base of the plant,(where the leaves start), is not already soft and mushy, they should come back.
A good tip for watering this time of year is to water from below. Sit the pot on a saucer of water. After half an hour, empty out any remaining water as the plant will have 'drank' what it needed.
