Rubber Tree, How to get another stem?

How do I get a rubber tree to grow another stem and not leaves, it's getting so big!

If you cut the plant off at its highest growing point, it will begin to sprout other stems. Never trim your plant back more than a third of its growth. As the plant continues to sprout taller, continue to trim it off, this encourages bushier growth. Good luck!
