coffee grinds and egg shells

can anyone tell me if they have put coffee grinds in there plants bfore and if you have seen any change in them? Also, has anyone soaked egg shells in water and then used the water to water your plants and was there any difference in the growth of your plants?

    Yes! I tested it on my roses. I put coffee grinds and egg shells on one plant and none on the other roses and the plants with the coffee grinds showed improvement immediately! (2 weeks or so!)
