What is this Plant?
We call this plant Bob (Marley). Curently it is 1-1/2 feet tall as a trunk like a palm tree. The leaves are long and skinny about a 1/2 inch wide. The leaves fall in a loose spiral and they are hard. I thought it was plastic. What is this thing and what the best care for it.

It sounds like a draecena (hope I spelled that right) or dragon plant. Put it in a sunny spot, water it when it gets dry. It's a very easy plant. Be sure to tip it out of the pot this summer and check the roots, get it the next bigger pot when you see too many roots. Make sure it has good drainage. It likes to be outside when temperatures are over 50.
