Potato tubers
Potato tubers

year, and a few weeks ago they started
sprouting. However, in zone 5 I don't
dare plant them this early...so, what do
I do? PANIC! Their sprouts are now over
a foot long each. Help! Thanks.

No reason to panic. When time to plant put them deep. The potatoes will put out tubers along the full length.

Jeff, thanks! First, I'll have that french fry, and second I won't panic! I had looked in every one of my large collection of veg. gardening books and had not found the solution. My gratitude to you!
