Seedlings and fungus/mold?
Hi,
I'm a first-time gardener, and I just planted some of my transplants-to-be last weekend. I kept them under a gro-lamp in homemade "humidity domes" of almost-sealed plastic bags. They sure stayed humid. When I opened the bags after a couple of days to re-water, I noticed that every single pot had grown a thin layer of white, hair-like mold or fungus over the soil. I spray-watered them, but I'm afraid it's going to kill the plants now! Is that normal? What should I do? (I have enough seeds and potting soil to replant if necessary).

Hi there, I've had the same probem in my terrarium. Try some of these home remedies http://www.firstrays.com/remedies.htm I'm trying cinnamon powder right now. Also, davesgarden.com is a wonderful gardening community online. I've been a member for 6 yrs and LOVE it.
