Help Identifying a Plant

Hello -

I have this wonderful plant at home and I think it's time for me to cut it back/ re-root it. But I'm not sure how to do that without killing it. Unfortunately, I don't know what it is to look up proper care. Please help!

  when I was not sure what plant it was I took part of that plant to the nursery with me and they told me what it was but you must go to a nursery the people at home depot do not know
