I have a bamboo plant I purchased a while back and it looks like it is not doing real good. It is planted in water and gravel and the instructions say to keep gravel covered with water.
Should I be doing something else? IE: fertiliser, bigger pot or something?

    I had 5 stalks in water and gravel for about 2 yrs. Two of them where rotten and I took them out. It seems like they never grew. I never used fertiliser, maybe that might help. I got tiered of it and tossed it out after I found wormy critter in water. They dont need a bigger pot. Hope this helps.
