Can anyone recommend a good gardening encyclopedia for Ontario.

We moved from London England to Cambridge, Ontario 2 years ago and purchased our first home 2 months ago. We have a 150ft garden in the rear and 20ft at the front. There are shrubs, trees and flowers but i won't know what they are until they flower.

I want to purchase a book that can provide me with as much information as possible on flowers, shrubs, trees, fruits, vegetables, etc.

In England we used to have the Royal Horticultural Society, I'm still trying to find the equivalent in Ontario.

Can anyone help?
