Bolivian Jew
I am taking my first class in gardening at Texas A&M University and have to grow a plant. The plant chosen by the professor is the Bolivian Jew or Baby Tears. I was just wondering if anyone had any helpful advice in keeping this plant alive. This is my first plant to grow and would like to do well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Amy,
I don't know the plant as a bolivian jew but I do know "baby tears" (Helxine) also known as "mind you own business", used in hanging baskets or as a ground cover. I am assuming that you are growing it indoors, so this is what they like. Good drainage, average warmth, bright indirect light is best, compost should be moist but not soaking wet, and they like to be misted. I hope this helps you out, and good luck Andi
