Dwarf Citrus

Need a little help...

For the past several years, I have been
trying to grow (actually, keep alive)
dwarf citrus trees (orange/lemon etc). They seem do do fine outside in the
summer, but when I bring them indoors
for the winter (N. Illinois) I have a heck of a time getting them to survive
through the winter.. They seem to do fine for a while, then they get leaf-drop and eventually kick the bucket..
This has become a challange to keep one
alive and eventually bear fruit.. Anyone know what it going on?? Is it
possibly lack of sunlight (trees are in
the sun-porch, get a little direct but
mostly indirect light. temps are kept
at around 70-74 degrees and humidity around 50%.. Watered when soil is dry,
light fertilizer every two months or so.
If more light is needed, what should I go with, HPS or MV and if so, how much??
