Original Message Lots of good additive
I don't know about egg shells, but you can use coffee grounds sparingly to add nitrogen to the soil. I mix it in a wheelbarrel with compost and other materials that I use to side dress my plants about every other week. If you compost, you can add it the pile, but don't use to much.
