Growing tomato plants from seed can be a lengthy process, and purchasing tomato plants can be expensive.
Now you can purchase a single plant and use the lateral shoots as cuttings.
Allow the lateral shoot to grow to 3 - 4" before removing. Then simply put it in a jar of water on your window ledge.
Within 8 - 10 days it will have produced roots. You can then plant it in potting compost and grow it on.
